Our Mission and Vison

OUR MISSION

The Boltz Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth from low-income communities to succeed in sports, academics, professional development, and life beyond the game.

OUR VISION

We believe that sports can open doors—but education keeps them open. We help young athletes transition from the mat or field to college, careers, and community leadership.

*The Boltz Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. EIN: 87-2048213. All donations are tax-deductible.

Why We Exist

THE PROBLEM

  • 1 in 4 children in the U.S. grows up without learning how to read.

  • Boys who can’t read by the 3rd grade are 4x more likely to end up in prison.

  • Many youth rely on sports as a "way out," but when athletics end, many are left without the skills to transition.

THE SOLUTION

We integrate academic readiness, career development, and life skills into the athletic experience. Our programs help youth:

  • Improve literacy and critical thinking.

  • Prepare for college and careers.

  • Build confidence, discipline, and long-term vision.

From Pain to Purpose -
The Journey of Titus Godbolt

Titus Godbolt is the visionary founder of Boltz Foundation Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to building community-driven pathways for underserved individuals, particularly those overcoming incarceration, addiction, or personal hardship. His mission is fueled by his own transformation from struggle to service.

The youngest of 13 children, Titus grew up in a household marked by instability and limited guidance. Despite challenges that left him academically and emotionally unsupported, he discovered wrestling, a sport that provided structure, discipline, and the foundation for resilience. Wrestling became both his refuge and the catalyst for his future growth.

Life brought Titus through difficult seasons that tested his spirit, but it was within those trials that he began the process of rebuilding himself. Upon reentering society, he reconnected with his high school sweetheart, now his wife, and together they created a blended family anchored in love, accountability, and vision.

Titus returned to wrestling—not as a competitor, but as an official. His integrity and dedication carried him from local matches to the NCAA circuit, where he earned respect as a leader and role model in the officiating community.

Through Boltz Foundation, Titus now channels his hard-won wisdom into mentorship, life-skills development, and advocacy. His story is proof that redemption is possible, that resilience is stronger than adversity, and that purpose can emerge from even the hardest beginnings.
